Give and help support our ownership of the McClure Cave Preserve. Many members think that MAKC doesn’t have to pay taxes. We own six properties counting our headquarters/library building. While members get a tax deduction for donating to our all-volunteer non-profit, we are not exempt from paying property taxes.
We pay about $100 in property taxes for owning this preserve and coupled with other property ownership expenses that tallies out to about $350 per year. Give now!
