Laurel Caverns Proposed As Pennsylvania’s 125th State Park

Laurel Caverns in Fayette County, the show cave operated by David and Lillian Cale and the Laurel Conservancy, has been proposed as a new state park as part of Governor Josh Shapiro’s forthcoming state budget proposal. The MAKC and local cavers are truly excited by this possibility! In addition to being a long-time friend of MAKC and a life member, David Cale has been a strong supporter of the local caving community. While this process may take some time to come to fruition, it could not happen to two nicer people than David and Lillian!
