Chris, a retired geologist, graduated from the University of Wyoming, earning a bachelor of arts degree in geology and a masters of business administration from Pepperdine University, California. With interests in geology and a love for outdoor activities, Chris began caving while in Wyoming and is a co-author of Geologic Survey of Wyoming, Bulletin 59, Caves of Wyoming <\/em>and other articles on speleogenesis and caving. His experience with caves and karst has been nurtured by observations of them across most of the western states, mid-western states and the eastern states.<\/p>\n He is a life member and fellow of the National Speleological Society, member of a number of grottos, and a long time member of the Mid-Atlantic Karst Conservancy. Chris loves caving and is a project caver who has contributed to a number of significant cave survey projects including the ongoing Sarah Furnace Cave Survey Project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" MAKC’s first monograph by Chris Z.
