Give and help support our ownership of the Barbara Schomer Preserve, Pennsylvania’s longest cave, and 20 cres in Clarion County for one year. Many members think that MAKC doesn\u2019t have to pay taxes. We own six properties counting our headquarters\/library building. While members get a tax deduction for donating to our all-volunteer non-profit, we are not exempt from paying property taxes.
\nWe pay about $200 in property taxes for owning this preserve and coupled with other property ownership expenses that tallies out to about $600 per year. Give now!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
