An interesting trip to the siphon with a set of 72 cubic foot Scuba tanks (70 pounds) and weights, diving light, etc. (60 pounds). There is a crawlway about 20 feet long about halfway back in the cave. The tanks were more fun than the satchel. At the siphon, Bob suited up, tied into a safety line and attempted the dive. Due to the poor visibility (approximately 1 foot) he came to the conclusion that it would require a team of divers to safely penetrate the siphon. A safety line is a necessity, due to the poor visibility.
