The MAKC's bat windshield sunshades and towels are here.  Nearly every caver has a bat bumper sticker.  Well, some of us like to do things in an even bigger way.  The MAKC received permission, from bat bumper sticker designer, Earl Biffel of Missouri, to reprint the design on windshield sunscreens and bath towels. 

The sunshades have a sturdy cardboard backing on one side and a reflective surface on the other, just like the bat bumper sticker.  It looks like the bat bumper sticker but these aren't a puny two by six inches. These are 21 1/2 inches high by 52 1/2 inches wide.  MAKC members Sue Moore and Phil Gowaty spearheaded this project.  

Need some new artwork in your den or family room?  Hang one as artwork.   The sunshields are retailing for $20 and the towels for $18.  Arrangements can be made to buy either item from Phil and Sue (near Erie), the Metzgars, or at a forthcoming caving event such as the spring VAR, NSS convention, or OTR.
