Annual Members’ Event July 14-16
MAKC members and guests are invited to take part in our annual members’ event
July 14-16, 2006. This year we will camp at Idle Acres Campground, McVeytown,
Pa. (Mifflin County). There will be a nominal fee for tent camping and there are
two caves at the campground property itself, Johnson Caves 1&2. MAKC
will also hold its annual auction, so please bring any items of interest to
donate. No reservations are required; however, to ensure we have enough
room at the campground, please email your intentions about coming to kimmakc@aol.com.
There will probably be local cave trips as well.
While this event is open to MAKC members only, friends of members who wish to
attend are welcome to join at the event. For the first time, there are no annual
“work projects” taking place at this time, so please join us to relax, camp
and cave for the weekend.
